DRESS RIGHT!

Only very snug-fitting trousers need provision for what is called "dress." Dress refers to the side on which a man places the more intimate parts of his anatomy; he is said accordingly to "dress left" or "dress right." Since--again we are dealing here in mysteries--most men dress left (but please don't consider yourself abnormal if you don't), the fork of the left trouser leg is conveniently made to account for this phenomenon. Dressing right--an ironic turn of phrase--is a problem that can be dealt with, if one wants to deal with it, simply by changing over.
